Liederabend began as vocal chamber music concerts in an intimate atmosphere, often in quite informal settings, for example, in a private living room. Nowadays, this genre tends to be supplemented with theatrically gorgeous and bright elements, alternating music with a variety of visuals.

Inspired by the Liederabend tradition, the creative team is inviting you to become a guest in a living room for a [non]academic music evening. We invite you to experience the diversity of vocal chamber music, visual colorfulness and theatrical joy of play. In addition to the songs of Franz Schubert and Hans Eisler, the program will also feature works by Imants Kalniņš, Hārdijs Lediņš and other composers. Let’s celebrate!
