Ģertrūdes iela 101aDirector Jānis Znotiņš: "I make children's plays to fool children into a meaningful lesson where they learn something new. I think Andrus Kivirehk does that perfectly in his stories - he gets to the deep meaning of the world order through provocative silliness."
The book deals with important themes in a child's growing process - dressing, learning to read, relationships in kindergarten, etc. The stories chosen for the show reveal commonalities in these processes that a child might not yet see, such as warm clothes - illness.
The play is not only popular with the audience, but also respected by theatre professionals - it has won the 2015/2016 Latvian Theatre Award as the Play of the year for children or adolescents.
