More than ten years have passed since the Latvian army joined the international mission in Afghanistan. We remember this war as an integral part of news and headlines. But what do we learn from history? What happens in a war? How does it change a soldier? This production is based on actual events that took place on May 1, 2009, at the observation Post Bari Alai in Afghanistan – it was the day of the battle that took lives of two Latvian soldiers.
All characters appearing in this work are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons is purely coincidental.
